Teams must search within a 300-yard radius (around 270 metres) of the museum for a taxi which has a figurine of the landmark shown in their picture. Teams selecting STAIR must climb the stairs to the roof of Tower Three, return to the lobby, walk to Tower Four, and climb to the cluebox on the roof. PROS: Not scary. CONS: Both towers are 45 floors high, so the task will be very physically demanding, and much slower.

YIELD

And subsequent cluebox:

1) Zabrina/Joe Jer
2) Sandy/Francesca
3) Mardy/Marsio
4) Andrew/Syeon

No team uses the Yield. The next clue is this week's:

ROADBLOCK
"Who wants to play a round? You may need patience and a steady hand."

Before this task, teams must take their abra to the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. There, the chosen team member must use only a putter, one other club of their choice, and one ball to complete a nine hole golf course. 3) Zabrina/Joe Jer, who called ahead to find out where it was and were led to the store's office
4) Mardy/Marsio

The final clue of this leg tells teams to find waiting cars with drivers outside the Souk, and direct the drivers to the Pit Stop at a "desert camp" in the Margham Red Dunes outside of Dubai. The same place was used as a Pit Stop in TAR 5 in the American version, and contrary to both it's a theatre restaurant and not a desert camp. 1) Sandy/Francesca
2) Andrew/Syeon
3) Zabrina/Joe Jer
4) Mardy/Marsio, who are not eliminated, but lose their money and will not get any for the next leg.

All teams take the same train, which per Zabrina/Joe Jer's clue reading was specified in the clue.

The train arrives, and teams rush to the Red Fort, where they find the

Before the task, teams must first get to Garib Gaushala, a cowshed at the Tibetan Monastery Market. There, the chosen team member must fill and carry a bucket of dung to the roof of the cowshed, and use it to make dungcakes. Each cake must be stuck to the wall in order to count. Once 20 dungcakes have been formed, they will be given their next clue. The chosen team members finish:

1) Andrew [Andrew 5, Syeon 4]
2) Sandy [Sandy 5, Francesca 4]
3) Laura [Andy 5, Laura 4]

The clue directs teams to fly to Kolkata, India. When they land, they must travel to St. Teresa of Avila church, which Allan erroneously tells us is named after Mother Teresa (who is currently not a saint). At the church, teams must light a torch in memory of the wrong Teresa before getting the clue.

All teams take the same flight from Phuket to Kolkata via Bangkok, presumably on Air Asia.

Teams get to the church and light their candles:

1) Sandy/Francesca, who first went to Mother Teresa's burial site
2) Andy/Laura, who first went to Mother Teresa's burial site, and who did not light the candle as specified by the clue

3) Zabrina [Zabrina 4, Joe Jer 4]
4) Syeon [Andrew 4, Syeon 4]
5) Marsio [Mardy 4, Marsio 3]

Teams are told to head to the Aaheli Restaurant at the Pearless Inn. There, they must each consume a traditional Bengali feast -- and dessert -- in order to get the next clue. Teams arrive at the restaurant, and discover a menu hinting that the meal should be eaten slowly:

1) Andy/Laura
2) Sandy/Francesca
3) Zabrina/Joe Jer
4) Andrew/Syeon
5) Mardy/Marsio

And finish their meals:

1) Sandy/Francesca
2) Zabrina/Joe Jer [note: Joe Jer apparently finished the main course well before anyone else]
3) Andy/Laura
4) Andrew/Syeon
5) Mardy/Marsio

The next clue directs teams to get to Kanishka's Sari Boutique, and search for their next clue hidden amongst hundreds of saris in the store. Teams are told in the clue that the store is closed for the night, but head there anyway, arriving:

1) Sandy/Francesca
2) Andy/Laura
3) Zabrina/Joe Jer
4) Andrew/Syeon
5) Mardy/Marsio

To confirm that the clue told the truth, and that the store is closed.

Day Nineteen
Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

When the store opens at 9am, teams find the clue:

1) Andrew/Syeon
2) Andy/Laura
3) Sandy/Francesca, despite the caption showing them in 4th
4) Zabrina/Joe Jer, depsite the caption showing them in 3rd
5) Mardy/Marsio

Which is a:

Carry <--DETOUR--> Count

Teams selecting CARRY must transport 80 litres of milk from one pot to another, by balancing urns on their head as they walk. PROS: Not confusing. CONS: Physical.
Teams selecting COUNT must travel to a specified market and correctly count the number of betel nuts in a provided basket. Each basket has a different number of nuts in it. If teams are incorrect, they must count the entire basket before guessing again. Teams are allowed to switch bowls as they wish. PROS: Not physical. CONS: Confusing.

Teams choose options and finish:

1) Andy/Laura, who chose Carry
2) Andrew/Syeon, who chose Count (total: 1212)
3) Mardy/Marsio, who chose Count (total: 1219)
4) Zabrina/Joe Jer, who chose Count (total: 1234)
5) Sandy/Francesca, who chose Count and did not finish by the end of the episode

The final clue of this episode directs teams to travel to the Kolay Market, and find the mat at a nearby terrace on the roof of the Indian Overseas Bank. Teams arrive:

1) Andy/Laura, who are handed a clue and told that the leg is not over...
